Title 22 › Chapter 113— UNITED STATES FOUNDATION FOR INTERNATIONAL CONSERVATION › § 10607
The Foundation may not support any government, or any entity owned or controlled by a government, if the Secretary finds the government: repeatedly supported international terrorism as identified under section 4813(c)(1)(A)(i) of title 50, section 2371(a), section 2780(d), or other law; was identified under section 2151n(a) or 2304(a)(2); or failed the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s “control of corruption” indicator in any of the 3 years before the planned grant. The Foundation also must not do dealings banned by U.S. sanctions, including with people on OFAC’s specially designated or blocked lists, unless the Secretary or the Secretary of the Treasury allows it. Anyone getting support must certify they, and any entities they control, follow all U.S. sanctions laws.
