Congress provides $14,000,000 for fiscal year 1984 and $11,000,000 for fiscal year 1985 to the Broadcasting Board of Governors for certain broadcasts. In later years the Board must fund broadcasts to Cuba at least at the fiscal year 1985 level. Separately, $54,800,000 for FY1984 and $54,800,000 for FY1985 are for essential Voice of America modernization. All these funds remain available until spent.
