Title 22 › Chapter 21— SETTLEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS › Subchapter VII— CLAIMS AGAINST VIETNAM › § 1645h
The Secretary of the Treasury can set up a Claims Fund inside the U.S. Treasury to pay unpaid claims by U.S. nationals against Vietnam under the rules in this subchapter. The Secretary must take 5 percent from any money put into the Claims Fund to repay U.S. government costs for the Commission and the Treasury Department in running these claims. The amounts taken go into the Treasury as miscellaneous receipts.
