Title 22 › Chapter 29A— INTER-AMERICAN CULTURAL AND TRADE CENTER › § 2081
The President may have a federal department or agency take part in the Inter-American Cultural and Trade Center (called “Interama”). The United States must work with the Inter-American Center Authority (an agency of the State of Florida) when it joins. Interama’s goals are to keep a permanent international meeting place for governments and businesses of the Western Hemisphere and beyond; to support wide, ongoing exchanges of people, ideas, and products through cultural and educational programs; and to help people in the Western Hemisphere understand each other and strengthen ties between the United States and other free-world nations.
