Title 22 › Chapter 34— THE PEACE CORPS › § 2507g
The President must create and keep a system so Peace Corps volunteers can report misconduct, mismanagement, or policy violations while keeping the volunteers and their reports confidential and safe. The system must follow current best practices and make sure reports are handled properly. The President must give extra training to staff who see these reports so they do not share them inappropriately. Anyone who must protect confidentiality but fails can be disciplined, including being fired, and staff who cause a breach can be barred from future Peace Corps jobs.
