Title 22 › Chapter 35— ARMS CONTROL AND DISARMAMENT › Subchapter III— FUNCTIONS › § 2576
Agencies must give the Secretary of State information to help with arms control, nonproliferation, and disarmament work whenever they prepare legislative or budget proposals. That includes proposals for: programs to research, build, test, or upgrade nuclear weapons, the systems that carry them, or related facilities; any weapons or military program with a total cost over $250,000,000 or an annual cost over $50,000,000; and any program with technology that could affect arms control negotiations.
