Defines key words used in this chapter. Person means anyone in a U.S. federal job or office, in territorial or Canal Zone or D.C. government, a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, or their family or household. Foreign government means any foreign government and its officials, agents, or representatives. Gift means any present or item given to or received from a foreign government, except decorations. Decoration means orders, medals, badges, insignia, emblems, or similar honors from a foreign government.
