Title 22 › Chapter 7— INTERNATIONAL BUREAUS, CONGRESSES, ETC. › § 262g
The United States must use its voice and votes in the named international development banks and funds to fight hunger and poor nutrition and to help economic growth in developing countries. It should give priority to countries that try to improve their own farming and to projects that help meet local food and nutrition needs. U.S. representatives at those institutions must oppose any loan or other financial help to start or expand palm oil, sugar, or citrus export production if that help would hurt U.S. producers of the same or similar crops.
