Title 22 › Chapter 38— DEPARTMENT OF STATE › § 2692
The Secretary of State may pay the costs for a person or group to take part in State Department proceedings, advisory committees, or delegations under rules he will make, but only if they represent an interest that would otherwise be underrepresented and cannot afford to join. Each fiscal year up to $250,000 from funds for State Department salaries and expenses may be used for these payments.
