Title 22 › Chapter 38— DEPARTMENT OF STATE › § 2701a
Department employees who work in certain U.S. territories can get a cost-of-living payment to help pay for their dependents' education. The payment cannot be higher than the educational allowance set by the Secretary of Defense for that territory, and the territory must be one where the Secretary has found local schools cannot adequately educate dependents of Armed Forces members or of Department of Defense employees.
