Title 22 › Chapter 38— DEPARTMENT OF STATE › § 2711
Secretary of State may reimburse U.S. or foreign entities that protect judges or other people who give help or information about terrorist incidents that happen mainly outside the U.S. Before paying in matters under federal criminal law, the Secretary must consult the Attorney General. Congress authorized $1,000,000 each for FY1986 and FY1987 for this purpose, called the Counterterrorism Protection Fund.
