Title 22 › Chapter 7— INTERNATIONAL BUREAUS, CONGRESSES, ETC. › § 276c–2
U.S. Executive Directors, Directors, and their alternates who represent the United States at the international financial institutions named in the law, if they are U.S. citizens, may be made eligible by the Secretary of the Treasury for the same federal civil service employee benefits based on their service and pay. The Department of the Treasury must act as the employer to collect, account for, and deposit their retirement and health insurance payments into the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund, Employees Life Insurance Fund, and Employees Health Benefits Fund, and to make any agency contributions from funds appropriated to the Treasury.
