Title 22 › Chapter 7— INTERNATIONAL BUREAUS, CONGRESSES, ETC. › § 276c–4
The Secretary of State must send Congress a report no later than 180 days after December 16, 2016, and then once a year for 3 years. For every international organization that had a geographic distribution formula on January 1, 1991, the report must say whether the group is making sincere efforts to hire more United States citizens, what more it could do, and whether it met its distribution rules. The report must also review U.S. staffing in professional and senior jobs at the United Nations, including the share of U.S. citizens at the UN Secretariat and at all UN agencies, funds, and programs, whether they follow any distribution rules, and what the United States has done or plans to do to increase U.S. citizen staffing there.
