Title 22 › Chapter 7— INTERNATIONAL BUREAUS, CONGRESSES, ETC. › Subchapter XI— INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION › § 282k
Treats any securities the Corporation issues, or guarantees for both principal and interest, as exempt from some federal securities rules. The Corporation must still file annual and other reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission when the Commission finds them appropriate for the Corporation’s special role and to protect investors. The SEC may suspend that exemption at any time after talking with the National Advisory Council on International Monetary and Financial Problems. The SEC must report about how this works in its annual reports to Congress.
