The United States Executive Director at the Bank must ask the Bank’s Board to adopt a resolution saying that light-capital or intermediate technologies should be a main part of the Bank’s development plan and should be used as soon as possible in Bank activities. The resolution must also call for some projects that mainly use these technologies to be designed and approved by the close of the calendar year 1977. The United States Governor at the Bank must report to Congress on that proposal no later than six months after May 31, 1976, and must report again on progress no later than twelve months after that date.
