§283z Proposal of Light-capital or Intermediate Technologies as Part of Bank’s Development Strategy

Summary

The United States Executive Director at the Bank must propose that the Bank accept light-capital or intermediate technologies as major parts of its development strategy and start using them across Bank activities as soon as possible. The proposal must also call for some projects using mainly these technologies to be designed and approved by the close of the calendar year 1977. The United States Governor at the Bank must report to Congress no later than six months after May 31, 1976, on that proposal, and again no later than twelve months after such date on the progress made.
