The Treasury must tell the U.S. Executive Director at the Asian Development Bank to vote against any loan or other use of the Bank’s money that would help a country the President has told Treasury failed to stop illegal drugs (as defined by the 1970 Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act) from being sold to U.S. government workers or their families in that country or from being sent into the United States. That instruction stays in place until the President notifies Treasury that the country has taken adequate steps to stop those sales or shipments.
