§287b–1 Additional Report on Other United States Contributions to the United Nations

Summary

The Director of the Office of Management and Budget must send Congress a report no later than 90 days after December 16, 2016, and then every year. The report must list all U.S. Government assessed and voluntary contributions worth more than $100,000, including in-kind gifts, to the United Nations and its related agencies for the previous fiscal year. The first report must cover the previous three fiscal years. The report must show the total amount given, the approximate share the U.S. gave to each U.N. agency compared to all funding for that agency, and for each U.S. contribution: the amount, whether it was assessed or voluntary, the U.S. agency that paid it, its purpose, and the U.N. recipient. Within 14 days after sending the report to Congress, the Director must post a public version on a text-based, searchable website.
