Title 22 › Chapter 49— SUPPORT OF PEACE TREATY BETWEEN EGYPT AND ISRAEL › Subchapter II— MULTINATIONAL FORCE AND OBSERVERS PARTICIPATION › § 3424

Last updated Apr 5, 2026|Official source

Summary

U.S. agencies may give administrative and technical help to the Multinational Force and Observers for no charge when doing so will not cause big extra costs, and the President sets the terms. The amount of free support or property, including U.S. military and civilian personnel, should be kept to a minimum. The President can give military training to other countries’ forces in the group. Contractors can do logistical work instead of U.S. troops, and the President may allow contractor support to be free if it helps U.S. national security, even if other rules would limit free support.
