People who are in the military and who hold a job at the Commission keep getting paid by their military while they are on military duty. The Commission does not pay them during that military service. If the Administrator, Deputy Administrator, or Chief Engineer is in the military, the pay for that Commission job is cut by the amount of their military pay, up to the full job pay. Each year the Commission must pay each military service enough money to repay any military pay it gave to members while those members served at the Commission.
