Title 22 › Chapter 53— AUTHORITIES RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF FOREIGN MISSIONS › § 4309
The Secretary can make section 4306 or any other part of this chapter apply to an international organization the same way those rules apply to a foreign mission, if the Secretary decides doing so is needed to carry out the policy in section 4301(b) and the goals in section 4304(b). "International organization" means a public international organization designated under the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288—288f–2) or created by treaty for governments to work together on international affairs, and an official mission (other than a United States mission) to such an organization.
