Congress can provide money to the Secretary of State to carry out two science and technology agreements with Poland and Hungary. For the U.S.-Poland agreement it allows $1,500,000 for fiscal year 1990, $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1991, and $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1992. For the U.S.-Hungary agreement it allows $500,000 for fiscal year 1990, $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1991, and $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1992. The 1987 U.S.-Poland agreement means the 1987 pact on science and technology cooperation and funding. The 1989 U.S.-Hungary agreement means the 1989 pact on scientific and technology cooperation.
