§5443 Science and Technology Exchange with Poland and Hungary

Summary

Authorizes money for the Secretary of State to carry out U.S. science and technology agreements with Poland and Hungary. For the 1987 U.S.-Polish agreement the amounts are $1,500,000 for fiscal year 1990, $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1991, and $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1992. For the 1989 U.S.-Hungarian agreement the amounts are $500,000 for fiscal year 1990, $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1991, and $1,000,000 for fiscal year 1992. The 1987 U.S.-Polish agreement is the 1987 pact between the United States and Poland on cooperation in science and technology, including its annexes. The 1989 U.S.-Hungarian agreement is the 1989 pact between the United States and Hungary on scientific and technology cooperation, including its annexes.
