§5513 Proposal for Consideration by International Civil Aviation Organization

Summary

No later than 60 days after November 16, 1990, the Secretary of State, working with the Secretary of Transportation, must ask the International Civil Aviation Organization to set up a full aviation security program. It must include training for airport security workers, grants to some countries to buy security equipment, and more use of bomb‑detecting dog teams everywhere in airports, including passenger screening areas and nonpublic baggage assembly and processing areas.
