The Secretary of the Treasury must send certain Congressional committees a report no later than 1 year after August 19, 2000, and each year after while the Trust Fund exists. The report must describe the Fund’s goals; the programs and activities it supports (including any vaccination approaches); private and government contributions; and the selection criteria approved by the Treasury Secretary and the USAID Administrator. No later than 2 years after August 19, 2000, the Comptroller General must report to Congress evaluating the Fund. That report must assess how the Fund’s programs affect the worldwide spread of AIDS and whether continued U.S. funding is warranted. "Appropriate committees" means the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, the Senate Committee on Appropriations, the House Committee on International Relations, the House Committee on Banking and Financial Services, and the House Committee on Appropriations.
