Title 22 › Chapter 13— SERVICE COURTS OF FRIENDLY FOREIGN FORCES › § 702
When the commander of a friendly foreign military with courts in the United States asks, U.S. civilian, military, or naval authorities who can make arrests may arrest a member of that force and turn them over to an officer of that force or to U.S. military/naval custody so they can be sent to the foreign service court in the United States for offenses those courts can try. If the accused is charged with an offense against a civilian, the trial must be open (unless security reasons stop it), held quickly in the United States, and kept reasonably close to where the alleged offense happened so witnesses can attend.
