Title 22 › Chapter 79— TRADE SANCTIONS REFORM AND EXPORT ENHANCEMENT › § 7209
The Secretary of the Treasury must write rules that let people use the travel-related transactions listed in paragraph (c) of 31 C.F.R. 515.560 under a general license when traveling to, from, or within Cuba to market and sell agricultural and medical goods under this chapter. No federal official, including the Secretary of the Treasury, may allow those same travel-related transactions for tourist activities, either by a general license or by a case-by-case specific license. "Tourist activities" means any travel to, from, or within Cuba that is not clearly allowed in subsection (a) of this section, in paragraphs (1)–(12) of 31 C.F.R. 515.560, or in any section those paragraphs point to, as they were on June 1, 2000.
