Title 22 › Chapter 83— UNITED STATES LEADERSHIP AGAINST HIV/AIDS, TUBERCULOSIS, AND MALARIA › Subchapter III— BILATERAL EFFORTS › Part B— Assistance for Women, Children, and Families › § 7653
Within 1 year after May 27, 2003, and each year for 10 years, the President must send a report to the appropriate congressional committees about federal efforts to prevent mother-to-child HIV transmission. Each report must say whether agencies met the goal in section 7652(b)(1) and must describe and count efforts: supported sites, the activities done, how many women were tested and counseled, and how many got preventive drug therapy. The first report covers since May 27, 2003; later reports cover since the last report.
