Title 22 › Chapter 89— ADVANCING DEMOCRATIC VALUES › Subchapter III— ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON DEMOCRACY PROMOTION AND THE INTERNET WEBSITE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE › § 8232
Congress recommends the Secretary improve the State Department’s global democracy and human rights website so people, groups, and movements in other countries can more easily find materials about democracy. When practical, the site should include government-published stories of important democratic movements (especially successful nonviolent campaigns), short explanations of human rights and democratic values, major U.S. human rights reports with translations, and other documents or links to outside sites and training resources.
