Title 22 › Chapter 97— INTERNATIONAL CHILD ABDUCTION REMEDIES › § 9010
The Secretary of State, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and the Attorney General must pick federal employees and may also pick private citizens to serve on an interagency coordinating group. The group watches how the Convention is carried out and gives advice to the United States Central Authority and other federal agencies, and it meets when the United States Central Authority asks. The agency that houses the United States Central Authority may reimburse private citizens for travel and other expenses to attend meetings, but only at rates no higher than those in subchapter I of chapter 57 of title 5.
