Title 22 › Chapter 104— VENEZUELA ASSISTANCE › Subchapter II— HUMANITARIAN RELIEF FOR VENEZUELA › § 9712

Last updated Apr 5, 2026|Official source

Summary

Congress urges U.N. aid agencies to publish independent reports on Venezuela that cover three things: shortages (food, medicine, and medical supplies); basic health measures (like maternal and child deaths and care for infectious diseases); and what actions are needed to fix those shortages and improve health. The President should tell the U.S. ambassador to the U.N. to use U.S. influence to back the U.N. Resident Coordinator’s work to help Venezuela recover and to support Venezuelans in nearby countries.
