Title 25 › Chapter 15— CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF INDIANS › Subchapter III— JURISDICTION OVER CRIMINAL AND CIVIL ACTIONS › § 1323
Allows the United States to accept a State’s return, in whole or in part, of the criminal or civil authority the State gained under section 1162 of title 18, section 1360 of title 28, or section 7 of the Act of August 15, 1953 (67 Stat. 588) as that Act existed before it was repealed. Section 7 of the Act of August 15, 1953 (67 Stat. 588) is repealed, but that repeal does not undo any transfers of authority done under that section before it was repealed.
