Title 25 › Chapter 18— INDIAN HEALTH CARE › Subchapter VI— MISCELLANEOUS › § 1680r
Tribal health programs that run health services or facilities and that get all or part of their funding from the Service under a Title V compact (Indian Self‑Determination and Education Assistance Act, 25 U.S.C. 458aaa et seq.) may charge an Indian for services they provide. The Service itself may not charge an Indian for services, and no tribal health program is required to charge an Indian.
