Title 25 › Chapter 21— INDIAN CHILD WELFARE › Subchapter II— INDIAN CHILD AND FAMILY PROGRAMS › § 1932
The Secretary can give grants to Indian organizations to set up and run child and family programs off a reservation. The grants can pay for things like a system to support and regulate Indian foster and adoptive homes (including subsidies for adoptive children that match foster-child support and follow State standards for maintenance and medical needs), counseling and treatment centers, family help such as homemakers, daycare, afterschool care, job and recreation activities, respite care, and legal help for families in child custody cases.
