Title 25 › Chapter 5— PROTECTION OF INDIANS › § 202
Makes it illegal to persuade an Indian to sign or record papers that transfer land or an interest held in U.S. trust. It's a misdemeanor. First offense: up to $500 fine. Second: up to $500 fine or up to one year jail, or both. Leases or contracts allowed by law are exempt.
