Title 25 › Chapter 25— OLD AGE ASSISTANCE CLAIMS SETTLEMENT › § 2303
The Secretary must publish in the Federal Register, within 180 days after October 19, 1984, a list of the trust estates known to have had unauthorized disbursements and the amount taken from each. Within 30 days after that publication, the Secretary must give each Indian tribe, band, or group whose members might be affected a copy of this law and the Federal Register list (or the relevant parts). Tribes, bands, groups, or individual Indians have 180 days after that publication to send the Secretary any other unauthorized disbursement claims not on the list. Within 30 days after that 180-day claim period ends, the Secretary must publish in the Federal Register a list of those additional claims.
