Title 25 › Chapter 26— INDIAN ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT › Subchapter V— BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS LAW ENFORCEMENT › § 2451
The Secretary of the Interior must work with the Attorney General, the head of the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Director of the FBI to create or add to training so that all Bureau of Indian Affairs and tribal law enforcement and court staff can get training on how to investigate and prosecute illegal drug crimes and on alcohol and substance abuse prevention and treatment. The training must also include material about preventing and treating alcohol and drug problems in young people. The law authorizes $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1993 and whatever amounts were necessary for each of fiscal years 2011 through 2015 to pay for this training.
