Title 25 › Chapter 32— NATIVE AMERICAN GRAVES PROTECTION AND REPATRIATION › § 3009
Protects federal agencies and museums so they can return Native American cultural items to Indian tribes, Native Hawaiian organizations, or individuals, and can make agreements with the tribe or group about who controls those items. It also does not delay repatriation requests pending on November 16, 1990, block access to courts, cut other legal rights of people or tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations, or change State or Federal laws about theft or stolen property.
