Title 25 › Chapter 33— NATIONAL INDIAN FOREST RESOURCES MANAGEMENT › § 3102
Lets the Secretary of the Interior help manage Indian forest lands with the lands’ owners, following the Secretary’s trust duties and the owners’ goals. Says the Secretary can take deductions from sales of forest products, and requires that money stay on the same reservation and be used only for forest land management; no other deductions are allowed. Aims to increase the number of trained Indian foresters and support staff in forestry programs on Indian lands. Allows funding to be approved to carry out these work and to protect and improve Indian forest lands.
