Title 25 › Chapter 36— INDIAN EMPLOYMENT, TRAINING AND RELATED SERVICES › § 3409
If an Indian tribe has an approved plan, it may use the plan’s funds to place participants in employer training jobs and pay them a training allowance or wage for up to 24 months, which may be nonconsecutive. The tribe must have a written agreement with each employer that the employer will provide on‑the‑job training and will give priority to hiring participants who complete the training successfully.
