Defines four words used in this chapter. "Bureau" refers to the Bureau of Indian Affairs. "Dam" uses the meaning given in 33 U.S.C. 467. "Secretary" means the Secretary of the Interior. "Indian tribe" means any recognized Indian group (tribes, bands, pueblos, or similar communities), including Alaska Native villages and regional corporations under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (43 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.), that are eligible for federal Indian programs.
