Title 25 › Chapter 12— LEASE, SALE, OR SURRENDER OF ALLOTTED OR UNALLOTTED LANDS › § 402a
Lets irrigable reservation land that has not been given to individuals be leased for farming for no more than ten years. Leases can only happen if the tribe’s council, business committee, or another authorized tribal body agrees. The leases must follow rules set by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
