Title 25 › Chapter 45— PROTECTION OF INDIANS AND CONSERVATION OF RESOURCES › § 5104
To consolidate lands on the reservation, the Secretary of the Interior may buy, exchange, or accept relinquishment of land, water, or surface rights. Exchanges must be equal in value and must count any improvements. It covers tribal, trust, or restricted allotments, whether the allottee is living or deceased.
