Title 25 › Chapter 46— INDIAN SELF-DETERMINATION AND EDUCATION ASSISTANCE › § 5306
People connected to a recipient of a contract or grant (including subcontracts and subgrants) under this chapter or the Act of April 16, 1934 who steal, misapply, or fraudulently take the award’s money or property can be fined up to $10,000, jailed up to two years, or both. If the amount taken is $100 or less, the maximum penalty is a $1,000 fine, up to one year in jail, or both.
