Title 25 › Chapter 47— CONVEYANCE OF SUBMARGINAL LAND › § 5502
Names 17 tribes whose land the United States will hold in trust for their benefit and gives an estimated number of acres for each tribe’s parcels. The list covers reservations and donated submarginal land projects and shows approximate acreages for each tribe. The Secretary of the Interior must publish the exact boundaries and descriptions of those lands in the Federal Register. The acreages shown are only estimates and do not change or limit the federal land grant set elsewhere in this law.
