Title 27 › Chapter 6— TRANSPORTATION IN INTERSTATE COMMERCE › § 124
Allows a winery in one State to ship wine to a buyer in another State or the District of Columbia while the FAA has passenger safety restrictions, if five things are true: the buyer bought it at the winery in person, proved they were old enough, the package needs an adult’s signature on delivery, the wine is for personal use not resale, and the buyer could have legally carried it into the destination. If any rule is broken, a State attorney general may sue under section 122a. The U.S. Attorney General, with the FAA Administrator, must report to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees not later than 2 years after November 2, 2002, and every 2 years after.
