Ohio is split into two federal court districts: Northern and Southern. Each district is divided into two divisions. Each division covers a group of counties and has set cities where the court meets. Northern District — Eastern Division covers 19 counties and holds court in Cleveland, Youngstown, and Akron. Northern District — Western Division covers 21 counties and holds court in Lima and Toledo. Southern District — Western Division covers 18 counties and holds court in Cincinnati and Dayton. Southern District — Eastern Division covers 30 counties and holds court in Columbus, St. Clairsville, and Steubenville.
