South Carolina is one judicial district divided into eleven divisions. Each division covers certain counties and names the city where its court is held. The Charleston Division covers Berkeley, Charleston, Clarendon, Colleton, Dorchester, and Georgetown counties, and the court is held in Charleston. The Columbia Division covers Kershaw, Lee, Lexington, Richland, and Sumter counties, and the court is held in Columbia. The Florence Division covers Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Horry, Marion, Marlboro, and Williamsburg counties, and the court is held in Florence. The Aiken Division covers Aiken, Allendale, and Barnwell counties, and the court is held in Aiken. The Orangeburg Division covers Bamberg, Calhoun, and Orangeburg counties, and the court is held in Orangeburg. The Greenville Division covers Greenville and Laurens counties, and the court is held in Greenville. The Rock Hill Division covers Chester, Fairfield, Lancaster, and York counties, and the court is held in Rock Hill. The Greenwood Division covers Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda counties, and the court is held in Greenwood. The Anderson Division covers Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties, and the court is held in Anderson. The Spartanburg Division covers Cherokee, Spartanburg, and Union counties, and the court is held in Spartanburg. The Beaufort Division covers Beaufort, Hampton, and Jasper counties, and the court is held in Beaufort.
