West Virginia is split into two federal judicial districts: the Northern and the Southern. The Northern District covers 32 counties in the north and holds court at Clarksburg, Elkins, Fairmont, Martinsburg, and Wheeling. The Southern District covers 23 counties in the south and holds court at Beckley, Bluefield, Charleston, Huntington, Lewisburg, and Parkersburg.
