Title 28 › Part IV— JURISDICTION AND VENUE › Chapter 87— DISTRICT COURTS; VENUE › § 1390
'Venue' is the place a federal case is heard, not which courts have power. This chapter doesn't set venue for section 1333 cases or decide which district a case removed from state court goes, but it governs transfers between federal districts.
