Splits Indiana into two federal court districts: the Northern District and the Southern District. The Northern District has three divisions — Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Hammond — each serving a group of nearby counties. Court for the Fort Wayne Division is held at Fort Wayne. Court for the South Bend Division is held at South Bend. Court for the Hammond Division is held at Hammond and Lafayette. The Southern District has four divisions — Indianapolis, Terre Haute, Evansville, and New Albany — each covering its own set of counties. Court for the Indianapolis Division is held at Indianapolis and Richmond. Court for the Terre Haute Division is held at Terre Haute. Court for the Evansville Division is held at Evansville. Court for the New Albany Division is held at New Albany.
