Title 29 › Chapter 21— HELEN KELLER NATIONAL CENTER FOR YOUTHS AND ADULTS WHO ARE DEAF-BLIND › § 1908
The Center may set up and keep lists of people who are deaf-blind at each of its regional field offices to help provide services. No one who is deaf-blind can be forced to give information for these lists. The Center and its network cannot share registry information with people or groups outside the Center unless the person gives written permission. Section 552a of title 5 (the Privacy Act of 1974) applies to the personal information in these registries. If a person asks, the Center must remove all of that person’s information from any registry.
